A few ideas for this -
Have the option to display the info in the post field (as it is just now) or in profle. Also allow text boxes for more info, a mp3 spot that people can enter links into and maby a you tube spot that they can put there fave video into. Things like that would be cool and unique

That's more for the profile than custom fields isn't it?
Custom fields are things added by you on your own board.

Yeah thats what i mean. On vb etc most custom fields goto the profile not the post bit. What i mean is that we could have a custom option then we select text box, url, one line etc. That gives the choice for mp3 and video in the url field.
