First off, is that the final version of your front page as it looks very messy to me? I'm using firefox so I presume you've made it for IE and never checked other browsers.
Also is the sidebar static in the code somewhere, or generated by some sort of CMS?
Are you using a CMS at all for generating the content?

Hi,
Yes that is the final layout for m site.
I know about the text overlapping in FireFox i am working on that. The side bar text links, featured ads ect are not needed on the forum.
The layout of the forum needs to have the same colours same type of header with the logo in and the main forum need to be like the main site under the header without the side links ect

What about the top links? Or would you just keep the forums links?
Also, looking at it, the top links which are currently Home/Join Now/Advertise/Contact Us could be used as the forum links, but then that might not look all that, in regards the changing colours.

Yes that would be a single column.
The top link would have the links forthe forum but the same layout bg image and border colour as the top links at my main site.
